It wasn't bad. I had all 4 removed 9 years ago. I also had IV sedation and I HATE needles. I usually pass out whenever I get needles but I don't even remember getting that one. All of my wisdom teeth were impacted so they had to remove them in sections--I was in a bit more pain following the surgery but I was given meds to help with that. I also had little chipmunk cheeks for a few days but overall it wasn't a bad experience. Getting my tonsils removed was so much worse.
Some people don't have any problems afterward, though. A friend of mine met a group of us at a bar later in the evening following her surgery
