I am devastated today, Lilly would not eat much over the weekend this is the first time I have experienced this type of thing being a new dad, by the time Sunday evening came around I was almost frantic, she laid down in her basket and was very non responsive.
I made several calls to our local emergency Vet Service and finally at 21.00 the lady came out to me, she was excellent and very up front with me, it turns out that Lilly has picked up a small parasite that has caused her some serious internal trouble.
This morning she has visited the Hospital, after a long examination it was decided to keep her in to monitor her progress today and possibly Tuesday, Dennis seems to be inconsolable I just cannot bear to think that we might be looking at a potentially life threatening event, why do we have parasites anyway.
I am at work now for what its worth 14.45 I am so worried.
