I have to say I never heard before that if a yorkie has green eyes in a photo he has got silky coat. But I thought about and I think it has nothing to do with the texture, but very often cottony yorkies are black and silky oneīs are always blue( I mean the real silk, there are very much varieties of course which are very similar to that type of coat, but the real, heavy silk is always blue!). So black hair has another pigmentation than blue hair and that could be the reason why green eyes always belong to silky oneīs and red to cottony. I really think itīs a question of pigmentation, because not only the pigments on body are different, but all over the body including the eyes. |
