First rule of breeding..the bitch does not read the books, care what you want, she does it her way, when she is ready...I missed a funeral once drumming this fact into my head...it is not easy telling people you weren't there because of your DOG.. as I was dressing, I heard her digging in her bed..yep, she had them!
