The cop does not have a right to simply seize any yorkie he sees and take it to be scanned. That is a violation of the 4th amendment rights of the people at the house. He can do so, IF he has a search warrant or IF the dog is positively ID's as being Zeke. I don't think anyone but Maureen could Positively ID Zeke.
They can ask all they want. The people have the right to say nothing, not answer, etc. | Unless the dog is seen and ID? |
