Once I let my aunt cut my hair at home and a few days later I got a perm. I knew that I had bangs before the perm but afterwards they were gone and my hair was a lot thinner. A few weeks later I noticed that I had a million little 1/2 inch hairs sticking up all over my head. When my hair was wet and slicked down I had another head of hair that was in a buzz cut. That was terrible for about 2 years until it grew out enough. That was about 15 years ago and I have never had a perm again. Maybe it wouldn't have been that bad if I had waited a couple weeks after having my hair cut....
