I'm very much against putting her in a crate for 10 hours a day. I would much rather confine her to the kitchen. I have a potty pad down, but she seems to go on the floor instead. I'll try the every hour idea. I'll sit her on the pad every hour and wait for her to do something. If she won't, I'll try again in another hour. In the meantime, I'll leash her to me so I can keep a hawk eye on her. She doesn't seem to sit on the pee pad by herself though and I have to hold her on it. Is that normal? Sometimes I wonder if the knows what I'm wanting her to do. Maybe I don't give her enough credit. Again, thanks for the suggestions.
