 Some advice is greatly needed!!!!
We just bought a little boy. He is 11 weeks and we just LOVE him. He has been doing really well with our little girl but I have some major concerns. When we picked him up he had HUGE mats all over his coat. He didn't smell very well and he was just a mess. We brought him home, gave him a bath and after an hour of work he was finally clean and mat free. We trimmed his bum, face and ears and he looks tons better. But since we have brought him home he is really scared to get picked up. When you do pick him up he wont look at you and is stiff as can be. He looks so sad and when you go to put him down he flexes all his muscles like you are going to drop him. You can feel his spine and ribs and he is just really scared. Is this normal for a puppy that is that old to come into a new home or do you think something happen to the little guy? How do I make him not at like this and get his coat shinny and healthy again? Any advice would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!! |
