I didnt think anything was wrong with him because he rarely coughed. We ended up treating that for over a month also. Then out of nowhere he walked up to his tiny bowl and ate a little food all by himself. I stood back in shock and had tears in my eyes. Syringe feed and try to feed your furbaby out of your hand. I used to put tiny, tiny bits of soft food and he would lick it off once in a while.Eventually your furbaby will eat on her own.

She is doing better, just doesn't eat much. 3 pieces of kibble, a few bites of Natural balance??? does this about 3x per day. She isn't losing weight so I guess she just doesn't need much. I still give her nutri cal but am cutting back. I get her to eat a few kibbles by putting nutri cal on them.

She is very happy and healthy and she has a little belly so I think she is fine. Just wish I knew how much she should be eating.

How much do 2lb. dogs eat? Is 2 or 3 tablespoons a day enough? Should I keep giving her nutri cal if she won't eat more?
