It is not that I can't make their dog look its best , it is that I want them to get just what they want.
So if you ask for the puppy cut and the groomer does not ask you lots of questions, you better start talking. Puppy cut is a generic term, used to cut dogs short, how short is up to you and if you do not speak up it is then left up the the groomer and who knows what you will get then.....

This was my experience at Dray's former salon in WA. Before the cut, Karen and I discussed practically each body part so she was sure that we were on the same page. And when it was time to cut off the puppy coat and go short, I made it clear that I wanted the top knot, but she could trim it up a bit. She did a great job. Communication is key. Talk twice, cut once! When all else fails, hair does grow back!
