We take ours camping we go up north by Lake Superior usually stay by the lake a couple of days then head to gooseberry state park . they love camping and it is not at all hectic with them they love hiking we have a little dog carrier we bring but noone likes to ride in it they like to walk along, we take all 3 the only hard part is the 8 hour drive up there as 2 of them do not like to ride they get very nervous, seem to settle down about 4 hours into the trip though.They also love fishing seem very facinated by what we pull out of the water, they get all excited, sometimes I wonder who is having more fun our 6 yr old or the dogs.
