We have a pear tree in our backyard, and I recently found Sophie chewing/eating one of the pears. It was about the size of a golf ball, so not fully developed. We don't use any pesticides in our yard. I'm thinking it couldn't hurt her, but I thought I'd see if anyone had any comments.
