Thanks Again...

To all who are so generous with their information that will assist Twinkle's and our family to keep her safe, healthy and happy.

A question if I may? Twinkle's coat is so sparse on her body. It is like angel hair on her back and legs. Just floats in the breeze. Her skin in dark on her trunk/body and can be seen underneath upclose. Is there reason for the thin coat? She is a very light colored yorkie with almost a silver appearance on the body and a light tan on her head and legs. Again, Twinkle was available to us from my sister in law to adopt because she was not able to be shown due to size (3lbs) and lack of coat. We love her beyond measure and have no interest in doing anything but that...love her. Is it common for Yorkies to be 3lbs? Could she be a runt? I am just interested as any new Mom is. I know nothing when it comes to these tiny Yorkies.

We will be getting a harness for walks and otherwise leaving the collars completely off due to risks. Just the other day my husband found Twinkle walking around with her mouth open. When he got close up he realized she had her breakaway collar in her mouth and around her neck kind of like a horse and biting on it! That was the end of her wearing it except to walk! I was about to go to G.W. Little and buy a cute collar and leash set. Now I guess I will buy her some shirts instead.

Thanks Again for the feed back,
Twinkle's Mom
