I think it's due to the strength of this medication.
Heres the pros and cons for Heart Guard and Revolution.
Revolution pros-(it keeps the ticks and fleas off completely)
Rev. cons- (dogs have adverse reaction on second or third dose due to its maximum strength)
Heart Guard Pros- (no adverse reaction at all...milder medication)
H.G. cons- (the fleas have to bite in order to ne affected by this medication which can lead to dogs allergic reaction to the flea bite.)
This is the part about HG I don't like.
The whole initative is to keep the fleas off our babies right?
But the fleas have to bite for the med to work...This make no sense to me at all.

No doesnt make sense to me either. SO if the adverse reaction are to the maximum strenght should we be giving half doses after first max dose? ugggg this is so confusing.
Hubby says he is sleeping so maybe the adverse reaction is gone. How long did yours last?
