Good idea, take it to your vet. Just keep in mind that most vets are not for "the natural way." I don't follow the advice of those links personally. I just posted them for you so that you could see that there are options. I know some people who do the natural way for heartworm preventative and they do just the 1 drop of black walnut per day and 1 pinch of wormwood 2x a week.
