Is this the case for any dog - and therefore was my breeder of my Bearded Collie wrong to breed for the first time at 5, or is it different for bigger dogs ?
....And am I right that Tammy at 4 yrs in a week, is too old now ?

Mmmmm I'm not sure about other larger breeds, since I've only bred yorkies and haven't delved into other breeds....but, logically if you quit using a female after the age of say between 5 and 6.....that would mean you mean you would only get 1 litter or maybe 2
