Thank you all so much for your suggestions, there's really a lot that my husband and I will be discussing tonight, and we've already asked my MIL to keep Lanie during the last weeks of her confinement, and I've been on the phone with her off and on all day asking even more questions about different issues that have been brought up during this post. Unfortunately she lives out of town and can't be here to help with the breeding... If it doesn't go well tonight I'm just probably going to give up on breeding Lanie and have her fixed. Now I'm worried about her age and other repercussions.... I'll keep everyone informed...
