Yes, that is what I liked about it too. I have a bag of Science diet because that is what the breeder fed, and I still have more than half the bag left. I couldn't find any decent foods around here, and the vet recommended Eukanuba small breeds puppy, so I got some of that. Then Petsmart started carrying blue buffalo. I need to be thrifty, as I just got out of college and am starting my career, so rather than throw the other two bags of food out I need to use them. When they are gone I will be feeding only the Blue Buffalo kibble.
The bag is little help. It says 1/3 C-1 1/4 C.... the high end seems like way too much but the low end seems like not enough... I guess 2/3 is okay then-right in the middle????
The apple was suggested to me by the vet (they aren't huge apples- actually rather small, and he LOVES them! I haven't seen any signs of an upset tummy!) and the baby food was started by my mom. I asked the vet and he said that as long as it wasn't a lot and it isn't more than one or two times a week, it would be okay. He gets about an oz or 1.5 oz. They are the small stage 1 jars. He also really loves this, just as much as his apples! All of this occurred in his first visit though, and I didn't ask him anything about diet during this past visit.
