South Bass Island (Lake Erie) - Off the shore of Sandusky, Ohio. I don't know what lodging is available that accepts dogs. We stayed at the campground at Cedarpoint and took the jetboat to the Island. Shelby & Seymour had a great time. It is a small place, but has a big park right downtown that is great to spend the day relaxing, watching the boats come in to the marina. We did not have our stroller yet and it really would have been handy.... but we rented a golf cart and it was a lot of fun touring around the island on it.
