Oh, my goodness! Yorkie owners are beautiful people! OK...so here is a little about me. My name is Shelley and I am 32 years old. I have been married to my husband, and high school sweatheart, for 14 years. We have one daughter, Lyric, who is the greatest kid in the entire world, except for all of your kids, of course! I grew up in Texas and we currently reside in Tucson, AZ. I hope to move back to the south at some point but we decided to wait until Lyric is out of the house. At 12 years old, she is just too firmly planted in Tucson. I am a stay at home mom and I home school my daughter. I am lucky to have YT access all day, lol! I work seasonally as a stage manager, which I love to do! My daughter is very involved in the performing arts, so we stay very busy with dance, voice lessons, acting, auditions, etc. I spend every weekend with my sister and best friend, Callie, who is a future Yorkie owner
. We spend lots of time playing in local poker tournaments and playing table tennis..ping pong is our favorite when it isn't too hot to play. Needless to say, in Arizona, it is almost always too hot to play, so we stick to poker all summer. Our husbands always joke about us being the "men" in the family! But, they actually like to do the cooking and cleaning while we have all of the fun! As much as we might try, they are really not into our "guy" activities. Well, when we are not "playing", I volunteer for the Southern Arizona AIDS Foundation and for the Gay Rights Coalition. By the way, I am not gay, but all of my friends are and I chose to volunteer with foundations where I feel I can make a difference. I am more on the conservative side of most issues (for example, marriage) than they would like, but I just have to be honest! I have probably blabbed on for far too long! I think I have told you all a hundred things about Rocky and we got him, so I am not going to include all those details in this already lengthy intro! It has been fun to get to know everyone and put faces with names! YT is a great place to be!
