As for measurements-for height- measure from a flat surface on which they are standing to the top of the shoulder in front. That is the height. For the length-measure frombase of neck down the back to the base of the tail. Those 2 numbers should be the same for a cobby body..That is breed standard. IF, you have to select a puppy with faults-and because they are live beings they will have them-and the faults are either long backs or long legs.. pick long legs. You can grow their hair down to camouflage the leg length but there is NO way to disguise the long back.. |
