Hey guys! Thanks for your prayers.
I talked to the vet today and he said the results indicated epilepsy. He hesitates to put Connor on meds though, as this is his first episode and Connor is back to his old self. Playing and happy.
He wants us to watch him over the next few weeks and months and see if it happens again. He said to write down when it happens, how long it lasts and what outside factors could have contributed to it.
I was sooooo relieved that he didn't just put him on the meds at the drop of a hat. I really like my vet!!!!!!
So we'll keep an eye on Connor and see how it goes.
And there are no problems with his liver or kidneys! Everything came back normal other than the epilepsy!
I wish you could all use my vet... There are actually 3 of them. One of them has actually appeared on Animal Cops Houston. They rock!!! And because there are 3 of them, there's always one on call. And they will call you back. One of them walked me through the breech birth of one of Mylan's puppies on a Sunday night over the phone at no cost! They are so awesome!
