Take treats with you and teach them to watch you and walk beside you for a treat.
Honestly, Loki knows how to "loose leash walk" but I just let him sniff. With 2 of them, we do stop in every yard, but I find they are just as worn out at the end from all the sniffing. It's more fun for them.
BUT you could easily teach a "walk nice" command. I think after they are obviously empty it is fine to cut back on the sniffing and peeing in every yard! |
