When I took Tino and Bunny to the groomer today, she asked if I wanted her to "pluck Tino's eyes or use the clippers?" I thought she was talking about his ears, but I had just watched her pluck them so I was totally confused. I said "what do you pluck around his eyes???" And she told me that you are supposed to either pluck that hair in the corner of the eye or clip it so that their tear ducts don't get clogged. I don't want clippers near his face after the old groomer shaved it, so I had her pluck them and he didnt mind a bit.

The woman that groomed him today has been doing it for 18 years up in Philadelphia and said that she used to groom her friend's show Yorkies up there, so she knew what she was doing. This was a new one to me and I read everything!!! Has anyone else ever heard of this?
