Its interesting how some people think that it is okay to say rude things about other people's pets, etc. We have a "good friend" who had a yellow lab that he really loved. We knew how much he loved the dog and were supportive of him. Even though the house always smelled like dog. When the dog died, we sent a card, and when they got a new dog, we visited. However, he continually makes fun of our Yorkie. He has never said a nice word about her.
