I regards to the allergies... Aren't allergies also do to the dandur of the animal, not just hair? My daughter has seasonal allergies, but we've been extra careful with keeping her on her meds with adding Brody to our house. We're not quite sure how her allergies will react. They did flare up when we first got the cats. So we figure better safe than sorry.
