Oh let's see...vet visits. Well, we got him on Mother's Day and I took him the following Monday to the vet for checkup and first set of shots. Breeder had not given him any shots. Then, a few days later visable worms came out in his stools. Took him to vet with sample got him dewormed. A few days later vet called to let us know he had Ghilardia (spelling?) and we had to give a medication for 3 weeks. 3 days on 5 days off and then repeat twice. PLUS we had to get cats on treatment just in case. He was covered under puppy plan which was good becuase medication expensive. Cats...expensive. Then after his second shots he got a lump, I guess normal but another visit. Have to love a patient vet who told me warm compress and massage. However, latley he has been gagging after excercise or water drinking. He goes to vet this Saturday for lyme shot and vet is going to check throat. Have to go go get him, put him out to potty...be right back. |
