 Help me~
Ok here is the deal. Tino is a stud dog and has been bred, due to my amazement he never marked anything in the house....Tht is untill, we moved. We have always given him free run of the house but now we are trying to keep him in the kitchen during the day while we are not home. To my surprise the two hours we left him in there the first time, he CHEWED through the baby gate! I couldn't believe my eyes when he came bounding up to the door. Ok second attempt resulted in much paint being ripped of the bathroom door and 4 rolls of toilet paper being destroyed after we let him out ( protesting I'd imagine). He has never done this before, I feel so bad. He has also scratched so much his nails are really short to the point where I belive it is painful for him. We have bought him a new baby gate, but the outcome will be found out when I get home from work today. Tino is a great dog when we are home but he is a terror when he is left alone, What can I do better~ help me!!!!
PS~ When I get home he acts like he is going to have a heart attack...worse than ever before..is this due to him not being comfortable in our new home? |
