It sounds like he just may not be strong enough right now for sufficient feedings. I agree, tubing him would be best. I hope they teach you. It's easy to do and has saved many a pups lives who can't suck at all. And there are those that are small and will benefit because they use all their calories/energy from sucking and have a hard time gaining wait. Sometimes it only takes a couples days til they're strong enough to eat on they're own. All the best for this puppy,
