Hello Hello!!!! Wow! My first night with Dash was GREAT!!!! He's such a good little boy - I got VERY lucky! We went to bed about 10 or 10:30 then got up once around 1 to go potty. Next thing I know it's about 6:45 and he was in his crate just chewing quietly on his bone!! So we got up and went potty then played for a bit, ate breakfast, pottied AGAIN, then went to take a nap! Haha - the owners before me had a 2 yr. old little boy so Dash and him were on the same schedule (i.e. LOTS of naps! YAY!)

Anyway - now I'm working on basic commands... He was named Manny with his last owners but I think he's already learned that he's Dash now. He's pretty good about coming when you say his name, but I tried to work on sit this morning and OH MY GOSH. I'm going to pull my hair out!! Haha! I know it doesn't just happen overnight, but he won't sit still when I'm trying to do anything with him. If I'm ignoring him, yes, he'll calm down and lay around like a lug. But I just feel like I don't know where to begin to try to teach this. I know some of you have said that it just took a few hours or a day or two to teach sit, so I'm hoping that he'll get the hang of it. ANY ADVICE??
