Babbie: No, I am not brazilian, but my breeder and puppy is!

What I do for Cashmere, is keep her in the hallway bathroom, w/ a baby gate. I took up all the rugs and her crate with padding is left w/ the door open, so she can go in when she likes. "Scented" newspaper is on one end of the room, while her bowls are on the other. She has about 15 toys scattered about as well. I also keep the radio on all day for her, as well. I do not confine her to the crate b/c hypoglycemia can be brought on by stress, and when I first got her, she seemed so...."traumatized" I couldn't bear confining her. I was petrified to come home and find the worst...Now, don't get me wrong, she enjoys the crate as well. Sometimes I will walk past the bathroom, and she'll be tucked inside . I brought her to work w/ me the first week, due to having to make sure she would eat (vs just leaving food down) and so she could get used to me. Now she stays home all day by herself like a big girl! I come home on my lunch breaks to feed her, and make sure she's fine. Haven't had any problems w/ hypoglycemia since the first week THANK GOD!

Also, I feed her 1/4 cup a day, b/c that's the recommended amount on the side of the RC bag. The first week, the vet recommended Hills a/d for her b/c she was tiiiiiny when I got her, she looked like a kitten So she had 65% dry and 35% wet. Doesn't sound like you'll have the same problems I had though!

Here's some pics of my sweet baby, I'll add more later...
