Wow, that's cool (no pun intended!). It sounds like those things they make for golfers that you soak in water and then put in the fridge and put around your neck when you're playing in the heat. They really help!
One word of caution before anyone does what I did (to my husband's neck things)...DO NOT freeze them....they get cold enough just by wetting them and keeping them in the fridge; I froze ours and the little beads must have swelled up or something and started coming out thru the fabric.
