Sounds to me like they wanted to and are still trying to steal the dog. Today I had Mya on very thin nylon 10ft lead attached to her harness. I was way back in the garage getting the garden hose out. All of a sudden I hear my large Pom Growling, He has only growled once before when someone tried to break in to the house, Anyway I come out the garage to find a neighbour crouched down beside the car, startled to see me and Comic who was also in the garage. She says Ummmmm I just wanted to pat the puppy, I didn't see you there. This woman sees my puppy EVERYDAY when I walk her past her house several times a day and had never asked to pat her. I am sure she was going to take her. I was going to say something to her but she ran off. I had heard her say her mother has wanted a dog like Mya for years when talking to another neighbour. I would make a comment like, If my dog goes missing, the police will be knocking on YOUR door. |
