 2. Glentle rub his throat to get him to stop
 3. Talk softly and calmly to him, distract him
 4. Lift his front paws above his head and tilt his head up
 5. Cool down pressure points:  belly and under arm pits
 6. Give him a bath in a VERY STEAMED Bathroom - let him breathe in that mositure
 
 The best thing to do is to get him to STOP when he goes into that 'mode'.
