Oooh bugger. I would change out that when I had the money if I were you. It's not only baby accidents but human accidents. Shoot I have no idea how much has been spilled in the five and a half years we have been in our house. I have three children (3, 8, 11) s o you know that there are spills. Plus just in general walking on it. You should institute the no shoes rule in the house...I used to do that when we had wall to wall. Now we put in Hardwood and it's easier maintenance. Good luck. I think that with the scheduled feeding it will get a lot better...I know it did for us.
