V - I just posted in another thread to be sure to check the blade temp when trimming. I didn't know that the blade could get so hot.

Petsmart sells a product in a spray can located near the trimmers that you can spray on the blade periodically to keep it from getting hot. It really works and my babies no longer get burnt.

Next time you trim, you might want to touch the blade with your finger to check the temp. You'd be surprised. I was soooo glad that a groomer told me.
