DOGS HAVE BEEN KILLED USING RADIO FENCES - DOGS MUCH BIGGER THAN A YORKIE! If the collar short circuts the dog gets zapped again and again. Plus, other dogs have gotten loose when the fence wasn't working properly, or when the owner turned it off and forgot it wasn't on. DON'T use these fences - esp. with a dog so small. Get a regular fence if you are going to go that route, and make sure that there is no gap in the fence line that a Yorkie can get through. If you have an earthdog boy like my Bun, an extra line of chicken wire around the base is advisable.
