I find that when I have to take a shower, Paddington barks a lot. I started putting him in his kennel and covering it up with a quilt (much like you would do with a bird cage)He doesn't bark when I do that. he really gets quiet. I think he goes to sleep because it is so dark and cozy in there.

I have a friend at work that used a spray collar on her pug and it didn't do anything- she ended up evicted because of his barking! I guess it just depends on the dog!!! Just PLEASE don't use shock collars! They are so inhumane!
