I know what you mean. I am still fairly new to yorkie talk, I love it to death and have found a lot of genuinely nice people and some great advice. Although sometimes I notice the drama, and felt slightly intimidated in the beginning. I received hateful pm's when I first joined because I got my puppy at a very young age. The puppy was indeed a gift from my husband, as he knew how much I missed the yorkie I grew up with. Now if it would not have been a suprise from my husband (who didn't know any better), I would've NEVER gotton a puppy at such a young age. But once she was in my arms it was too late. I immediatley took her to the vet and she checked up to be perfectly healthy. Like I said, if I had purchased the pup myself I would have insisted on only getting her when she was older. Some people believed I should not own a yorkie, and I took this very offensively. Being a kindergarten teacher, I am clearly responsible enough to take care of a puppy...although I am still learning everything I possibly can
Anyways, point be...don't let it get to you. I give Bella more love and affection than I do my husband....and she is the best friend I will ever have. I have learned to keep most of my comments to myself so I won't offend anyone....and I will leave the advice to the pros. Hang in there...I know you give great advice
