Eukanuba and Iams aren't "good quality" food according to Whole dog journal...instaed try Innova, Natural Balance, Wellness, Solid Gold etc..., now about the Narural balance the good thing is it comes in rolls..(they are really good..most dogs LOVE THEM)..and so it is soft texture (almost like liverwurst), you could also buy a brand of puppy kibble and mix it in...I give Maixmus 5-6 tsp of dry kibble 3 times a day and I used to add in the natural balance rolls...most people here free feed..(leave kibble out all day long)..so the pup can eat as they please...Maximus is a cow and would eat every last drop and get sick..lol, anyways as far as the natural balance rolls..you can give a 1/2" slice with every meal and 2 tsp of kibble..I don't know about wet food because I never fed it...HOW old is your baby?...when I first got Maximus I was giving him his kibble moistened..but I stopped that after about 2 weeks because he enjoyed the dry kibble so much more...hope I helped |
