I started Lacy with a bow as soon as I got her at 11 weeks. She gets her hair done every morning with a bow put in and then I take it down at night. She's always been good about it (although she has messed up her hair like 6 times today and I had to redo it!...normally she doesn't mess it up at all) I think it helps if you start them early. And I guess you just have to get that rubber band in tight so they can't get it out easily...that way they'll eventually just have to get used to it...even if it has to look kindof messy at first.
