I own 2 yorkies. (knock on wood!) I have never had any issues with them. Sadie is 3 1/2 yrs and Lillie is 13 months. They are very healthy little girls. But, I bought from a breeder.

When a pet is bought at a pet store you never really know what you are getting. Pet store puppies are 99% of the time bought from puppy mills. Therefore, you never really know what you are getting. Puppy mill breeders don't care about the animal at all! All they care about is the all mighty dollar. They are kept in horrible living conditions and breed the females until they just can't breed anymore and kept in very unclean and unhealthy living conditions. You should read up on puppymills, you will get a better understanding on why some of these little puppies are so sick.
