I don't know if it's a Yorkie thing or not, BUT, my little one, who is now a year-and-a-half old has had his fair share of illnesses: He was hypoglycemic twice, pancreatitis once, gastroenteritis once, and kennel cough twice. You'd think I was neglecting him -- but he's treated like a little prince! This last bout of kennel cough he got from being at the groomer's for five hours -- and he's had his bordatella shot! I do feel that Archie is more delicate than other dogs I've had. I had one little toy poodle who was healthy as a horse his whole life and another toy poodle who had a heart murmur, but who lived to be 13, when his heart gave out. Otherwise, he had no health issues. Archie has had more illnesses in his year and a half than the other two did their whole lives. I just think I have a delicate little guy -- though to look at him, he is strudy (at a whopping 4 pounds), has lots and energy and is a happy dog. I think it's just like kids, each one is different.
