I would take Mardelin's advise. I think a vet visit is what he needs. Maybe he has mites?
I make sure that I keep the hair out of their ears. I also use Oticlean on a cotton ball to clean out their ears every time I give them a bath. I just twist the dampened cotton ball in their ear..
