It's nice that you raise your pups without being touched but what a shame they have no human contact. I, on the other hand, fool with the puppies from birth, hold them several times each day and allow my grandchildren to do the same. We fool with the puppies all the time and talk to them. I like to see their growing progress, color changes, check for health. The mother dogs are comfortable with us helping with the care and the pups grow up loving to be loved. The puppies are also allowed to crawl out of the cage on their own when they are big enough, explore and learn to be puppies, not caged animals. But that's my choice and how you raise your puppies is your choice. Everyone has different views. JMO
