I think it's great that you're looking into it and doing homework.
That was all my opinion, but I'm sure if you train them to go on the peepads...then that'll be a place they'll know where to go and they'll be able to hold it in diapers, and the diaper thing may keep them from having those accidents. If you really want to use those diapers, I would just be consistent and schedule when they go at first (like when you're going to take off the diapers and stuff to let them go on the pee pads), because they can't hold it too long when they're younger.
