I don't know if there are any hotels right on the riverwalk that allow dogs but there should be several within a mile or two that does. The problem with the riverwalk is there really isn't much grass around for them to potty in. I have taken Lacy with me to the Riverwalk before. I walked her around and carried her. It is pretty hot in the summer though so be sure to take water with you, and it can get real crowded too so you'll probably feel safer carrying your baby. We even ate at a restaurant sitting right next to the river with our dogs. I usually see a lot of dogs there.
