Luigi's gotten warm at times too when we play around or if it's a hot day. He's okay though and I just make sure he has plenty of water. The one day I thought something was wrong cause he felt warmer than usual, I took him to the vet (it just so happens that day was his 1st checkup with me) and they checked his temp. and everything else and he was just fine. I was freaking out over nothing.

Is Bobby hydrated enough? If he's acting differently, not drinking enough, or if your instincts are telling you something may be wrong, I'd just go to the vet to see. But this could be normal after playing or running around a lot? (Don't quote me though) Also, in smaller dogs and puppies, their heartbeats are naturally super fast (sometimes over 100bpm...even at rest) so a racing heart may not mean anything.

I'm sure/I hope he's ok. Maybe someone else will have more advice for you =)
