And Michiko.. at any time did Stacy respond to your emails and tell you she had not received the papers from AKC yet? Did she tell you that you could file them yourself if it was taking too long for you?
I do not know anything about the timing so I am just wondering, I was responsible for filing my dogs but I didnt so I would not know how long it usually takes. Other dogs have been too long ago for me to remember a timeline.
Curious to as to who is the breeder on YT that looked at the paperwork she sent you? The one that said it was faked? |
I have hesitated to post on this thread because I personally feel something is not right. I have known Stacy to be above board in all her dealings and is a very honest person. She is also a person who loves her dogs above all else. I have not talked to Stacy in a few weeks but even if I had I would not comment on it on YT. I am shocked at how many of you feel that she owes anyone an explanation of what has transpired. Even if you go back into Stacy's post rarely did you ever see her post puppies for sale. She did not use YT as a means to advertise her litters as many breeders here do. She played an active role on this forum to help new breeders; new pet owners understand the Yorkie world. My goodness, how many of you would like your job review put up for the world to see. I am sure many people would be fired or never hired if everyone starting putting their opinions out there for the world to see. I also have to add that if people think that this thread wouldn't hurt someone's reputation how can you think this, as this is a permanent record for the entire world to see. Would you like what has been written about you - just put your name in place of Stacy's name? I have always been against the Breeder review section because what one person see's as a good breeder/bad breeder is an opinion..nothing more. I feel all of this should be handled in private PM's as this was a business transaction, but that is just my opinion.
I was glad to see Diva's post regarding the vet's opinion as I totally agree. Vet's are no different than anyone else, some are better and some are worse. I could tell you horror stories about vets diagnostic skills. We can only hope that little Lilly is made well but even the owner said "Stacy told her about the murmur".
I also feel that it has been implied that Stacy has not been in contact/conversation with Michiko for the last 5 months which Stacy has. Even Michiko said she emailed a form to her but Micheko thought it was fake (my words) but I also suspect, it is a pedigree online form (which many reputable breeders use for their lineage) which if Michiko goes to AKC she can request the certificate she so desperately wants with this information. She needs the dam & sire's registered names. Michiko, while I understand why you would like this piece of paper can you honestly say "Stacy has not contacted you in 5 months?"

There is lots of information on the AKC website and phone numbers to resolve this situation instead of people implying many things and private business being posted all over the internet. No matter how you look at it, when money exchanges hands business is being conducted and should be dealt with in those terms. It is a hard lesson in life when you realize friendships and business rarely go hand in hand. One has to be placed before the other.
I am truly sorry it has come to this.
