Oh for heavens sakes, let me reword my post. Luxating patellas are a huge problem in most toy breeds but when pet owners let their dogs jump off beds couches etc,,, it can very possibbly go from a problem that will never in their lives cause them problems to a surgical issue. I know because I did it. I will not blame my breeder for it. I did my homework and knew it was a problem, but you tell my dogs they cant jump. I couldn't.
This is more than likely why no contract I have ever seen will cover luxating patellas. The post was not about LP, I was throwing it in there to make a point. Had I known it would be brought up 5 times I would have been more careful with my wording. |
